SS23: THE GALLIPOLI COLLECTION
We are excited to share with you The Summer 23' Gallipoli collection. Inspired by the charming coastal town of Gallipoli, located in Southern Italy, where life is easier and the Mediterranean sun meets the vibrant hues of the sea. The pieces in this collection capture the essence of Italian leisure fashion from the mid-1950s, while incorporating both timeless and modern elements. The use of light fabrics and colors captures the coastal vibe of the town and the retro influence can be seen in the vintage-inspired cuts and details. Indulge in a variety of apparel and accessories with knits, suits, jackets, linen trousers, shorts, espadrilles, and more featured in this collection.
Gallipoli is located in Puglia, right on the southeast coast of Italy, and is famous for its beaches and crystal-clear waters. The environment of the town reminds us of the village portrayed in movie The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), and indeed, this collection draws a lot of inspiration from the iconic style-icon Dickie Greenleaf character from the movie.
Dickie's style is a perfect reflection of his character; sophisticated, carefree, and effortlessly stylish. He wears retro knits, wide linen slacks, espadrilles and tailored suits which are all items that can be found in this collection.
Featured in this collection, we also launched the Terry Towelling Jacket, available in navy and white.
Perfect to be worn on the beach, sailboat, or effortlessly elegant a night out on the plaza.
Another highlight of the collection is the range of knits. The lightweight fabrics make them perfect for layering during cooler summer evenings, and the patterns are inspired by traditional Italian designs.
Finally, no summer wardrobe is complete without a good pair of espadrilles. The Summer 23' Gallipoli collection features a range of espadrilles in various colors and styles. The espadrilles are made from canvas cotton and are made in a family-owned factory Almansa, Spain. Each pair is made by hand through a 52-step production process.
