Biella Navy Blue Flannel

Wool Flannel / Single Breasted
For tailored clothes, flannel has always been able to walk the line between being distinguished and having a blithe casualness. It's an approachable appropriateness that seems to defy time, place, or even occasion. A flannel suit can be dressed up or down, worn with a discreet off-white spread collared shirt and a tie, or a turtleneck for an elegant yet at ease look.

The Grand Le Mar "Biella Navy Blue Flannel" suit is cut from pure 100% Italian wool flannel. The fabric was carefully chosen from the mills of renowned Italian fabric maker Vitale Barberis Canonico; a producer of the most refined and elegant fabrics since 1663 (the production has never stopped since the mill was founded hundreds of years ago).

The jacket is of single breasted buttoning and feature wide peak lapels, besom pockets, double vents in the back, and functioning sleeve buttons. The construction of the suit is half canvas and the inner lining is "partially lined". The high-waist trousers are of Gurkha design and feature double pleats, turn-ups, and side-adjusters.

Neapolitan tailoring and sartorialism at its finest. If you are looking for a tailored yet casual look during winter- and fall, this is the perfect companion for you.

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure your body height from tip to toe.

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

1) Measure your shoulder width like in the picture above.

2) Pro tip: put on a t-shirt and measure from the left shoulder seam to the right shoulder seam. It’s easier to find the correct shoulder width of your jacket this way.

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure around the thickest part of the chest and back (typically right under the armpits and across the nipples) keeping the measuring tape straight. It should be held firm to the skin, but not tight.

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Put on a t-shirt or sweater. Find the spot on the shoulder where all the stitching meet (like in the picture above), and measure from that point all the way down to your wrist bone. If prefer your sleeve jacket slightly longer than to your wrist bone, then add 1cm/0.4in.

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure the circumference of your bicep muscle (thickest point).

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure around the smallest part of the stomach/upper waist. Keep the tape straight and firm to the skin, but breathe in and out a few times to ensure this is at a comfortable width. Try to find a point quite close to your belly button.

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure the circumference of your waist (where you want your trousers to be fitting around your waist). Note: our trousers are usually a bit more high waisted and therefore we recommend that you measure slightly higher than you would with normal pants (for example, jeans).

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure the circumference of your thighs (thickest point).

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

Measure the circumference of your calf (thickest point).

+

HOW TO MEAUSRE

1) This measurement is actually easiest measured by taking a pair of trousers that you like in terms of length. Pick a pair of trousers that like in their length and lay them flat.

2) Fold the top leg above the waistband, exposing the crotch seams. Use your hands to gently extend and flatten the fabric.

3) Measure from the crotch seam downward to the end the trousers.
